Kids Read Comics is a totally FREE comics event that will take place in Dearborn, Michigan. It “unites kids, teens, parents, teachers, and librarians with professional artists and writers from the comics and animation fields”.   It features hands-on workshops, panels and presentations for all ages, opportunities to meet comics and animation professionals, and even for the kids to have their own art reviewed!  You know what? I’m a kid too! I want to go!

This activity will take place on June 12 & 13, 2010 at the Henry Ford Centennial Library in Dearborn…

Imagine… workshops on making comics, drawing funny characters, writing adventures, for all age levels! If I were you, and had the opportunity, I wouldn’t miss it!

Most of my favorite artists, which I’ve known from sharing with them ideas, and techniques online, will be there!
